The Thinking Cap has co-hosted Family Game Nights at dozens of schools/districts throughout Western Pennsylvania, and even into Ohio! It’s a fan-tastic way to involve parents and get kids excited about learning. The element of FUN makes all the difference!
I believe there are wonderful games on the market today that reinforce basic skills as well as, or better than, flash cards and workbooks! I also believe that family time is crucial to every child’s development, both socially and educationally speaking. A Family Game Night at your school, church, or group meeting can help reinforce basic reading and math skills while bringing families together in a fun atmosphere!
I constantly screen games and provide to you 12-20 of the best in the industry, customized flyers, handouts, and 2-3 terrific game-players to get the night set-up and started! There’s no real “fee” for this service, but I ask that you purchase $100 or more of the games to be used as door prizes that evening. (Because of rising travel costs, a traveling allotment may also apply for locations outside of a 25 mile radius of Butler Township.)
All you have to do is make copies of the flyer to distribute to your students, round up some volunteers to help demo the games, and reserve a multipurpose room for your Family Game Night! It’s that simple!
